One of the first pictures I took after I started cleaning out the garden plots. In this picture only one of them has been cleaned out.

These are a couple cleaned out plots, the corner on the left was so covered with leaves, sticks and mulch that we didn't even know things were growing under it all!

This is after I cleaned out one of the plots on this side, the rest are still covered in leaves.

The side of the house where all sorts of dead plants are still sticking out of the ground, including the evil thorny rose vine things.

The untouched plots in the front of the house (this may be confusing, the "front" faces the street, but the entrance to the house is in the back).

We suspect that the ground in this picture is an old veggie garden, we'll have to do some digging to get it into a plantable state again, or might just put grass down.

Behind the garage. There are flowers planted on the right (can't really see them) and on the left there is a lot of small rocks, we believe this was for some sort of drainage. Who puts a garden behind their garage? You only see it if you actively look behind the garage...

The plots in previous pictures, this time they are completely cleaned out! Yay!

The end of day 1, a lot has been cleared away, you can see little steps in this picture, we didn't even know they existed until we cleared all the leaves away!
